MORE VIRUS CHAOS

Today the first American was killed by the coronavirus. Yesterday, a Japanese man died with symptoms consistent to coronavirus as the epidemic advances.

Both men were in their 60s and had compromised immune systems. The Japanese man appeared to have been diagnosed with viral pneumonia before he was infected with the virus.

Many people have died during the last few decades from various diseases but in the latter stages developed pneumonia which received the blame for their death. Unless it is a traumatic event, death is finalized by inflamation caused by virus or bacteria.

This morning, according to authorities, deaths from the coronavirus in mainland China rose by 86 to 722. Report is that the number of outstanding cases stands at 31,774.

Yesterday (2-7-2020), Li Wenliang died. He was the 34 year young doctor who was reprimanded for raising the alarm about the new coronavirus. Dr. Li, via social media, warned of the virus in an online chat room more than five weeks ago. The police made him an example of what happens to those who do not comply with official demands for secrecy. He was summoned by the authorities and forced to sign a statement denouncing his warning as an unfounded and illegal rumor.

Things change quickly. Dr. Li’s death sparked an emotional flash point of sorrow and outrage on Chinese social media. An outpouring of praise for him simultaneously was evident with fury for communist authorities who put politics above public safety. Chinese social media, often fickle, was almost unanimous in its grief for Dr. Li, with eulogies posted from all over China, even calling for freedom of speech. Instead of fighting the trend, Beijing used the state media to transform Dr. Li into a loyal soldier aligned with the government’s cause.

Yesterday, U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said the United States would invest up to $100 million to assist China and support coronavirus efforts by the WHO. The United States has sent nearly 17.8 tons of medical supplies to China, including masks, gowns and respirators.

Yesterday, here in Houston, I attempted to purchase some face masks for use in manufacturing – nothing to do with virus protection. Manager of the medical supply store told us that they just had 52 cases delivered in the morning and all were sold a few hours later. Sam’s, Costco, Walmart, and other stores in Houston are completely sold out of face masks.

To win the war with the virus, the medical mind set must change. The FDA needs to allow toxin-free cures be available to the public with proven claims.

Victory against the virus will be on its way through immunology, improvement of cellular communication integrity, and modulation of the immune system. Glycoscience holds the answer to the virus chaos.
